Our bus...where will we go ?!

Goof afternoon !!

Over the last week the children have been observing all kinds of activities at home and school, continuing to adjust to their routine, and each other!

We have followed many child centered activities such as making our school bus and painting rainbows.
Our current topic has a rainbow in the story of Colour me Happy  which the children have enjoyed very much. Feel free to read it through with your child at home.

You can also sing some of the songs we have been singing!

Our class this year is full of highly capable children, and they are into everything they can handle! We have had airport restaurants, giving each other miss-direction games and phonic tree plantations.

The class seem to have so much fun, and there is so much learning going on its hard to tell the difference between times in the day. I feel very lucky to teach your children, they are a wonderful class.

Rich conquering allll the shapes

Painting rainbows, Minnie spent an hour learning all types of ways to mix and paint.

Qiv started off small, but ended up HUUUGE!

As we are still learning about ourselves, brushing Dino's teeth never hurts.

Searching for /t/ sounds [twigs]...ask your child which /t/ sounds they can see, may be give them a few prompts at first.

Deepmans' culinary threading skills.

Sachia figured he can make many twigs out of just one.

Construction and de-construction go hand in hand !

Food decoration...apparently it started during ลอยกระทง Let me know if that's right?

Lewis making articulate housing.

How we built our /t/ sound trees.

FINISHED !!!

Searching for sounds!

Qiv and Peam have been giving wonderful renditions of the days of the week song (see above) Ask you child to sing it for you  ^.^

Some very calm and entrancing painting: How I feel today.
Using the words 'I am...' above or below.

We enjoyed pulling faces and putting ideas behind the words.

Looking through TED's book from last year. Which photos will you put in for the children to see?

Early last week we went on a /s/ sound walk searching for things such as /S/ky or /S/un, or /S/corpions!

Well done to the children for earning their time in soft play !

Another amazing week, everyone was exhausted by the end of it, and rightly so. Thanks for taking the time to have a look, and always feel free to stop by.

Thanks, Douglas and RP.
