Ourselves

Hi all!

The last week the children have been developing their learning preferences and spending time with the topical activities. We have been looking at ourselves, how we behave in the environment and how to look after it. Ted has been throwing toys around the class! We have been talking about what to do about that, and what could happen as a consequence.

You can ask your children what you what they were doing in the photos and see if they remember the songs!

Making labels for around the class. Children now know where they are to keep things themselves, claiming ownership!

Making and designing our flags for Fridays HCD

Investigating what we can make with Lego

Making sure our babies were kept warm, fed and nurtured.

We sang along to the Kings song, you should try this and see the reaction your get!

Investigating different ways of counting.

Peam's Mum came to visit and read us a lovely story; The Grumpy Dragon. We hope to see each of you soon!

Outside we saw the REAL flagpole, to compare it to our flags.

Heading on our phonic walk looking for /n/ sounds with our /n/ose

Then finally House Colours Day !!

As a class we have become very interested in cyclical and rotational play. Such as Rich's spinning plates, and locking doors AND PEOPLE up with ropes.

Even Kru Por' got caught up in it!

We raced tidy up games.

We made lots of things with our friends.

The children have been developing their outdoor learning. Educational opportunities outside are invaluable, and of course the children thoroughly enjoy the opportunity.

Have a great week!

Kind regards,

Douglas and RP.
